Zoe's Place, the chosen charity of Real Radio, is a baby hospice providing respite and pallative care to North East babies aged between birth and 5 years

The hospice is situated within a former convent Crossbeck House in Normanby just south of Middlesbrough.

Continuing the groundbreaking work of Zöe's Place in Liverpool, the hospice is welcoming children from all over the North East England.

Their nurses provide respite, palliative and terminal care for the children in a home from home environment.

Crossbeck House is a wonderful Victorian building with beautiful grounds for parents and children to enjoy. Extensive renovations over a two year period have created a colourful and peaceful environment for our children and their families.

The central element of the hospice is a bright cheerful area where the nurses and children spend the majority of the time. This area includes play facilities with specialist equipment and benefits from a light sensory room that features bubble tubes and an under lit fibre optic carpet that is a hit with everyone!

We need your help to raise money for Zoe's Place. We will be supporting all of the Zoe's Place events this year and we believe you can have some fun helping to raise money too, so make sure you keep listening to Real Radio and checking back here to find out how you can help!
