I’m from Barnsley but fell in love with the North East in 2001. When I’m not working… doing something at Newcastle United or the Newcastle Falcons… I’m usually underneath a “pile on” at home, getting whooped at Fifa by my 6 year old son Alfie… or pretending to eat food my 3 year old daughter Jersey has made in her kitchen. If I’m not too tired after all that… and we’re not both tired… I spend a bit of quality time with my wife Kerry.

We’ve got a nutter of a dog called Dotty who barks a lot… and can always find a way out of the garden.

My kids… I know it’s a cliché…. But they bring more laughs and tears to my life than anything else. They make me laugh every day.

Again… it’s a bit sloppy… but my wife Kerry is a 5 star Mum… and I’m only a 4 star husband… so I’ve got some making up to do!

Del Trotter…. He’s got his fingers in more pies than me…  and is probably a bit craftier… but he makes people laugh and his heart is in the right place!

Absolutely… we once went on holiday to Turkey… and upon hearing the loud speaker from the local mosque… my 6 year old shouts “I’d didn’t know Tarzan lived here”

Sat with my Grandad… on a Saturday afternoon… with a belly full of fish and chips… watching Saint and Greavsie (my Grandad didn’t like Greavsie because he never wore a tie)

I had Pele in my car in the morning… and Sir Bobby Robson in my car in the afternoon… surreal but true!

Ant and Dec… I interviewed them before Alan Shearer’s testimonial… and they were just like they are on the telly.
