Simon Cowell - Ryan Seacrest

Lord Cowell gives Lady Seacrest a call to see what he's been up to since they parted ways on American Idol.

Simon turns the interview around on Ryan this time though and puts his relationship under the microscope.

They talk about girlfriends past and present and their love lives for the future.

Talking about One Direction and their success Simon says to Ryan:

"I remember being on a plane with you and Randy and I remember discussing pop music ... and I think you said 'I'm amazed there aren't any boybands being successful at the moment.'

And I think you said to me something alone the lines of 'wouldn't it be great to do this together?' and I thought brilliant. And then I did it on my own."
