Originally from the South West, I started my presenting career in Community Charity radio. I then gave my sales job up and spent a year at my local radio station answering phones and making everyone coffee... a year later I got my own show. That was 1992. Since then I have worked at stations in Bristol, Worcestershire (same one as Beck!), Yorkshire, Northamptonshire (same one as Finnon!), Lancashire, Devon and all over the North East.

Obviously, a spanner.

A chicken on a slippery floor.

If there was one personal item you couldn't live without, what would it be?
Do my children count?



What did you spend most of the school holidays doing?
Hanging out on beaches, bodyboarding.

Did you do anything to earn your pocket money when you were a kid?
Delivered free papers whilst listening to the ‘Beach Boys', sold carpet in B&Q... oh and made garlic butter.

If you could take part in any tv programme, which one would it be?
Grand Designs... something white, cubed, modern and overlooking Bamburgh Castle... please Kevin!

What are you most scared of?
My misses, she's from Shields!

Have you ever been told you look like someone else famous?
Yeah, someguy that fell asleep on the radio, years ago.
