Jo hasn't always been keeping listeners dancing round their handbags - her first love was flying and she spent 14 years as a long-haul air stewardess.
A career-changing appearance on Stars in their Eyes (singing Moloko's 'Sing It Back') led Jo to the airwaves, where she later landed a job taking centre stage for six hours every Saturday night!
As well as being a fabulous diva, she still sings in her spare time with her band Funky Town! Crazy about shoes, handbags, pub quizzes and mini-breaks with the girls... Jo loves going for long walks with her fluffy Jack Russell Basil and is mad about cars - especially her Hot Chocolate Mini Clubman called Errol.
