How did you get into radio? My Dad used to work at a station in Leeds, and I got a Saturday job helping on the sports programme. I was only 12! Bless!

Describe your radio show in one sentence? Great tunes at the back end of the day, and loads of memories from your school days!

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up? Always wanted a job on the radio.

What was the first record you ever bought? Moonlight Shadow - Mike Oldfield

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? Bad legs...not good for shorts!

If a film was made of your life which actor do you think should play your character? Somebody once said I looked like Hugh Lawrie, so maybe him. He wouldn't come cheap these days though

Outside of radio have you ever won an award/medal for anything and if so what? I used be quite good at cricket when I was a lot, lot younger. So won quite a few for that.

Do you ever get recognised when you are out and about? Noooooooo!

What's the latest song you've heard that you love and can't stop listening to? Still love Coldplay's Viva La Vida after all this time. And there's a track on Duffy's album called Distant Dreamer which is just amazing. Hopefully a future single. It's one of those that gets you right there!
