County Durham Man Missing For A Week
Stephen Burn was last seen at a wedding reception at Durham Rowing Club last Saturday night.
It's thought he left the party just after 11.30pm and headed in the direction of Baths Bridge.
The 26 year old hasn't been seen since.
Police are now hoping holiday-makers who spent part of their Bank Holiday weekend in Durham city could help them find him.
Sergeant Lyndsey Hope said: ""Over that weekend a number of people were staying in caravans or motorhomes on land just to the rear of the rowing club. Even though it was dark we are hoping some of them may recall seeing Stephen, who with his ginger hair and blue shirt would have stood out. We are also asking anyone who was out and about in the Baths Bridge area to cast their minds back to that night and contact us if they think they came across him."
Officers from the Northumbria Police marine unit spent several hours searching a stretch of the River Wear near the rowing club yesterday but didn't find anything.
